This project has been an ongoing challenge for a few months and has gone through numerous iterations.

The motivation behind this project is straightforward: I'm not willing to spend hundreds of pounds on something when I can utilize the decent camera on my phone.

After much deliberation, I finally settled on a design that uses a sandwich of plates held together by magnets.

The phone holder stand is 3D printed, repurposing an extrusion from an old 3D printer, and is separate from the base light source to facilitate alignment during scans.

Overall, I am pleased with the design, though I may consider changing the stand base.
