Kodak Eastman 5399 VN cross processing with Rodinal

Kodak Eastman 5399 VN this film is all over places like eBay at prices of £17 for 50 feet this is pretty tempting to bulk load.

Fortune has it I have 50 feet of this film and about 10 rolls locked and loaded with some still in the loader.

Now this film is usually developed in C41 chemistry by lots of people online but I do not have this developer, but I do have ECN2 and black and white chemistry. Originally this film is to be developed ECN2 which is handy.

The idea here is I'm going to develop in both ECN2 and black and white.

This time round were using Rodinal in a ratio of 1-100 so 3.5 ml in 346.5 ml of water. Using the stand development method. Now before anyone says that's too little developer it's not I've read multiple sources and watched far too much YouTube so were experimenting with this amount.

Below are the images in raw scans and my Snapseed edits.

When looking at the negatives after developing they look really dense but I think this is the films age because as you see once edited they are really good. All images were shot on my Balda Supermatic on auto at 25 ISO.

Any questions on this film let me know.
